Case Study:
CANARIE Summit 2026 Brand System (Click to expand)

A modular, bilingual event identity designed to scale across digital, environmental, and print applications

The Challenge:
Develop a modern, future-focused brand system for CANARIE’s national technology summit that could scale across bilingual materials, digital platforms, signage and eveornmental graphics.

Design Recommendation:

Logo Usage:
The CANARIE Summit 2026 logo exists in vertical, horizontal, bilingual, and icon-only configurations. Use full-color on dark navy or black backgrounds. Reversed white versions are approved for dark applications only.

Typography:
Primary: Inter (Headings) – semibold / bold
Secondary: Inter (Body) – regular
Typography supports digital-first readability and modern technology positioning.

Colour Palette (Pantone):
Five horizontal color bars labeled with brand specifications: Navy Pantone 282 C (#1a1f4b), Lavender Pantone 7444 C (#c6b7e2), Teal Pantone 320 C (#009ca6), Pink Pantone 212 C (#f48fb1), and Lime Pantone 381 C (#cddc39).

Application
Applied across event signage, digital banners, websites, social media, and large-scale
environmental graphics.
The modular node graphic may be cropped, scaled, or used as a background texture.
The various Pantone colours will replace the lavender colour palette in subsequent years.

Impact:

  • National summit serving research and technology leaders
  • Applied across multi-channel campaign and live event environment
  • Established scalable foundation for future Summit iterations
